Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Link 16 Engineer to contribute to our projects supporting government initiatives. This role involves systems engineering tasks focused on requirements analysis and management for the development of a new Link 16 Pulse Deconfliction Server (LPDS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirements analysis, design, and development to provide essential technical support for the redesign and development of the LPDS.
- Develop a comprehensive Software Development Plan (SDP) for each LPDS release, detailing functional requirements, processes, tools, schedules, and milestones.
- Engage in system software engineering and integration support to implement software requirements for the latest LPDS version.
- Ensure compatibility of LPDS software with the designated host environment as determined by the Change Control Board (CCB).
- Create and maintain an automated regression test suite to validate each implemented requirement, enhancing it for future software releases.
- Assist in government-witnessed formal qualification testing (FQT) to demonstrate operational readiness of the LPDS.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 3 years with a Master's degree; or 9 years of relevant experience with a High School diploma.
- Experience in Link 16 and LPDS software development.
- A degree in electrical engineering, electronic technology, computer science, or a similar technical discipline is required.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance is essential.
- Possession of a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance is preferred.
Work Environment:
- This position may require working in various environments, including office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory settings.
