Job Summary:

This Adjunct Faculty member provides instruction primarily in a healthcare course and other related areas given appropriate credentials. The instructor is primarily responsible for general healthcare-related content areas.

Courses and Responsibilities:
  • Teaches in lecture and laboratory settings
  • Evaluates and advises students
  • Participates in departmental and College affairs
  • Develops curricula
  • Recruits students
  • Serves on committees
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Nursing, or Allied Health discipline
  • Valid licensure or certificate in the above-referenced Allied Health or Healthcare fields
  • 3 years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in the field
  • All educational degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions
  • Possess excellent and effective communication skills
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff, and the community
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Must be able to travel between campuses and clinical sites
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Unofficial transcripts along with a cover letter and resume
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
