Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Pensacola Christian College. As a Mechanical Engineer - HVAC Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance with monitoring and maintaining our campus Building Automation System (BAS) and ensuring the efficient operation of the equipment it serves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with monitoring and coordinating repairs, installation, commissioning, and servicing of facility HVAC control systems.
  • Provide technical and field support to engineering technicians as they fulfill their work responsibilities.
  • Assist with identifying equipment deficiencies and implementing corrective measures for maintaining efficient and effective operation of HVAC systems.
  • Analyze data and compile reports for all facility buildings.
  • Provide assistance in monitoring and managing HVAC and energy-related projects.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in HVAC systems, operations, and controls.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs as needed.
  • Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical skills.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.

  • Born-again Christian with a commitment to training young people for serving God.
