Job Title: Physician Assistant or Nurse PractitionerSalary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year

This is a full-time position that requires a highly skilled and experienced clinical healthcare provider to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services under the direction of a physician.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine patients, take medical histories, record results, and make preliminary diagnoses or decide on follow-up procedures.
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Administer and order diagnostic tests such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and blood work, and interpret test results.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures such as immunizations, injections, suturing, and wound care, and managing infection.
  • Exercise professional judgment regarding consultation with supervising physicians concerning appropriate treatment.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, instruct, and counsel patients, and record progress.
  • Prescribe medications to the extent allowable by state guidelines and clinic regulations.
  • Provide general health education regarding matters such as proper diet, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Physician Assistant Program or Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience:
  • Two years of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Licenses and Certifications:
  • State accreditation based on certifying exam.
  • Continued employment requires 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and passing a recertification examination every six years.
