Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our restaurant equipment and systems. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and patrons.

Main Responsibilities
  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on kitchen appliances, HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and lighting fixtures, to minimize operational downtime.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations and standards, addressing potential hazards and reporting them to management as necessary.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with restaurant systems and equipment promptly to maintain high levels of service quality.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of maintenance supplies and tools, ordering replacements as needed to avoid stockouts.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, reporting significant issues to management and suggesting improvements where possible.
Requirements
  • Active Driver's License and reliable transportation for travel between restaurant locations.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, with the ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and management.
  • Attention to detail, with a commitment to performing high-quality work.
Working Conditions
  • Frequent evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required, depending on restaurant hours and maintenance needs.
  • A fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with staff and occasional disruption during maintenance activities.

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with opportunities for career growth and professional development in a dynamic industry.
