Faculty Position in Medical Laboratory Science

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as an Associate Professor of Medical Laboratory Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in Laboratory Medicine and Medical Laboratory Science, as well as assuming administrative responsibilities as Associate Division Chief for the Medical Laboratory Sciences Division.

Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate-level courses in Laboratory Medicine and Medical Laboratory Science
  • Assume administrative responsibilities as Associate Division Chief for the Medical Laboratory Sciences Division
  • Develop and implement curriculum for graduate-level courses
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to achieve departmental goals
Requirements
  • ASCP certification as a Technologist
  • Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Laboratory Science, or directly related field (PhD preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years laboratory bench-level experience
  • Administrative or project management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mid-career applicants with college or clinical teaching experience
  • Demonstrated administrative leadership experience
  • Record of active participation in professional societies
