Machine Tool Technology Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Tool Technology Instructor to join our team at Williamson College of the Trades. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in teaching and mentoring students in the machining trade, while also contributing to the development of our programmatic initiatives and curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Teach machine tool technology courses, including theory and hands-on labs, to students in our advanced manufacturing program.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
- Supervise student involvement in on-campus work assignments and school projects, while assisting students with classroom assignments and skill development.
- Monitor and record student aptitude and performance in classroom and/or shop/lab settings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a focused, engaged, and equitable learning environment.
- Serve as a role model for students and embody the school's core values.
- Comply with academic policies related to grading, academic probation, course failure, and course failure remediation.
- Update and manage course information and student performance within our learning management system.
- Assist in planning and coordinating program functions, including instruction equipment and supplies, field trips, and special presentations.
- Minimum of three years of experience in the machining trade, with a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Specialty area under the umbrella of advanced manufacturing, such as CNC, EDM, etc.
- Command of relevant theory and practice, contemporary knowledge, and best practices in the machining field.
- Teaching experience at the secondary and/or post-secondary level (preferred but not required).
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred not required).
