Electrical Installation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the most effective method and sequence for installing electrical fixtures and equipment, including AC/DC motors, control panels, PLC's, switches, and transformers.
  • Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
  • Requisition materials, tools, and equipment, and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations.
  • Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, etc.
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit to meet project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations to resolve the situation.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to perform installations or service to the equipment and/or mechanical system.
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
  • Effectively communicate job status, issues, recommendations, etc. to management.
  • Provide timely and completed documentation of work performed.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and adhere to safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4-8 years of experience in the field or related area
  • Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data centers
