At Brightspire, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Golf and Grounds to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a senior living community with a regulation 9-hole golf course, set amidst a lush landscape of hardwoods, pines, and rolling hills.
Job Summary:The Assistant Director of Golf and Grounds will assist in the planning and execution of the golf course and community grounds maintenance schedule. This role requires a certificate, 2- or 4-year degree in turfgrass management, horticulture, or a related field, with a minimum of ten years' experience in landscape or horticultural management.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in promoting player satisfaction through quality maintenance and communications.
- Help schedule and supervise the daily operations of the maintenance crew.
- Train, motivate, and supervise staff in a capable manner.
- Assist in establishing, promoting, and enforcing safety practices in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the golf course equipment and maintenance facility.
- Assist in preparing the department operating budget.
