Role of a Barback:
A Barback plays an essential role in ensuring the seamless operation of a bustling bar environment. You will support Bartenders by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and assisting in delivering prompt and friendly service to our patrons. The ideal candidate is energetic, positive, and quick-thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organize, and dismantle all bar supplies before, during, and after service while providing assistance to bartenders as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness in all bar areas, including countertops, sinks, utensils, shelves, glassware, and storage spaces, as well as clearing and resetting tables in the bar area.
- Prepare garnishes for beverages and replenish snacks and appetizers for bar guests.
Qualifications for Success:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a solid understanding of common drink recipes and spirits.
- Exhibit a positive attitude, readiness to assist fellow staff, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, and all guests.
- Flexible availability to work during days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical capability to stand or walk for extended periods, with occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
