Job Description

The Financial Services Representative at Abacus will be responsible for processing payments and bank deposits, providing customer service to the college community in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash handling procedures and excellent communication skills. As a key member of the team, this individual will work closely with full-time staff to identify and process registration manual drops each semester, transmit financial aid awards to student accounts, and maintain the College's student ID program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payments and departmental bank deposits.
  • Reconcile cash drawer and prepare Cash Out Summary report as required.
  • Process petty cash reimbursement and vending refund requests.
  • Sort and distribute mail.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and departmental records.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • One year experience in cash handling procedures.
  • Two years' experience in customer service and clerical work experience in an office setting.
  • Ability to service faculty, staff, students, and the public with tact and courtesy.

Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
