About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at New Perspective Senior Living. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of service and dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with residents in a friendly and courteous manner, providing exceptional service and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the menu and make suggestions to residents as needed.
  • Take food and drink orders from residents with accuracy and deliver food in a timely manner.
  • Ensure residents are enjoying their meals and address any issues promptly.
  • Collect payment from residents and guests as necessary and enter orders into the POS system.
  • Maintain impeccable personal grooming and hygiene standards and practice safe food handling skills.
  • Perform dining room checklists to ensure readiness, cleanliness, safety, and department of health compliance.
  • Assist with food preparation and help with set-up and re-set of tables as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Previous experience in restaurant, dining hospitality, and/or full-service senior living preferred.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver orders in a timely fashion.
