About the Role

As a Patient Care Technician at AdventHealth Connerton, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients. You will work under the supervision of a professional nurse, assisting with daily living activities and performing specific duties to ensure the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including basic hygiene, skin care, nutritional and dietary needs, elimination needs, physical activity needs, and comfort measures.
  • Perform basic general patient care routines and tasks in a safe, competent, and therapeutic manner.
  • Assist with the proper care and maintenance of unit and patient care equipment.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Current Florida certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EMT.
  • BLS certification.
