Eastridge Workforce Solutions is collaborating with a leading provider of precision custom die cutting services in search of a Logistics Operations Manager. This role is integral to ensuring the efficiency of our supply chain processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Quality Management:
Continuously enhance and adhere to procedures within the ISP Quality Management System.
2. Vendor Relations:
Develop and maintain essential vendor partnerships, focusing on negotiating pricing and specifications that meet customer needs.
Explore vendor capabilities and identify new options for materials in line with customer specifications.
Manage the procurement process for raw materials essential for production, including pricing negotiations.
Work closely with the sales team to address customer requests and execute effective pricing and purchasing strategies.
Utilize the ERP system for entering vendor pricing and managing procurement data.
Coordinate with the production team regarding material delivery schedules and production timelines.
Potentially assist in delivering quotes to customers as needed.
3. Inventory Management:
Oversee optimal inventory levels within the warehouse.
Collaborate with accounting to ensure inventory counts align with financial reporting.
4. Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• A positive, respectful, and collaborative attitude is essential. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Team-oriented mindset in a dynamic, Lean, and hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Strong work ethic with a keen attention to detail.
• Initiative and drive for continuous improvement; familiarity with 6S and Lean methodologies is advantageous.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English, as well as interpreting technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
• A Bachelor's Degree or substantial experience in manufacturing is preferred; relevant experience may substitute for educational qualifications.
• Familiarity with die cutting and digital knife cutting processes is beneficial.
• Understanding of material lot control and its significance is required.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 environments is preferred.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, and manual dexterity; ability to lift up to 50 lbs may be necessary.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to achieve organizational goals.
