Program Coordinator RoleWe are seeking a skilled Program Coordinator to join our Child & Adolescent Anxiety and Related Disorders (CAARD) Program. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with our Senior Director and clinical team to plan, implement, and coordinate programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Senior Director to establish program goals, objectives, and strategies in alignment with CBC's mission and vision.
- Oversee daily operations of assigned programs, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of services.
- Partner with clinical staff and support personnel to ensure appropriate staffing levels for program delivery.
- Monitor program outcomes, collect client feedback, and implement improvements to enhance client satisfaction and program effectiveness.
- Work with the Senior Director to manage program budgets, resources, and supplies, ensuring cost-efficient operations.
- Provide training and support to program staff, equipping them to deliver services effectively and professionally.
- Collaborate with outreach teams to promote programs and services to the community and referral networks.
- Represent assigned programs at relevant conferences as a presenter or exhibitor to enhance visibility and network with referral sources.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program, with completion of a post-doctoral fellowship.
- Valid, unrestricted license to practice psychology in New York and a minimum of three years of licensed experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), including evidence-based treatment of anxiety and related disorders in children and adolescents, as well as parent-focused interventions.
- Experience in program coordination within mental or behavioral health settings, including organizing or co-leading intensive therapy programs and CBT groups for specific concerns such as social anxiety, OCD, and Selective Mutism.
- Proficiency in professional writing, public speaking, and program management software, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and build strong professional relationships.
