Role OverviewAs a Cyber Underwriting Specialist at At-Bay, you will play a critical role in underwriting high-value and complex cyber risk coverage for middle market clients. Your primary responsibility will be to build and manage a strong broker base, ensuring that our clients receive world-class service and support. You will work closely with underwriting leadership, business development, and insurance product teams to identify opportunities and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage a strong broker base, focusing on middle market clients
- Propose and negotiate insurance policies, identifying opportunities for account rounding
- Analyze risk within At-Bay's guidelines, ensuring proper documentation and service
- Collaborate with cyber analytics, product, marketing, and other teams to deliver exceptional value to brokers
- Work with technology and data teams to create tools that enhance the underwriting process
- 10+ years of experience as an underwriter or account executive in cyber liability and TechE&O
- Strong knowledge of specialty commercial underwriting and insurance industry theories and practices
- Ability to work with advanced analytics software and technology
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic tech environment
At-Bay offers a competitive salary range of $140,000-170,000 per year, based on market data, location, and internal equitability. We prioritize talent and encourage applications from experienced underwriters who are passionate about delivering exceptional results in a dynamic and innovative environment.
