Overview

Johns Hopkins Medicine, a private not-for-profit community healthcare provider, is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join our diverse imaging team.

About the Job

This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients
  • Position patients comfortably and safely on the scanner table
  • Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Current licensure as a radiologic technologist in the State of Maryland
  • Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Current CPR certification
  • IV certification by HCGH within 90 days of hire date
  • Advanced CT certification strongly preferred
  • One year of CT experience preferred
