**Fabricator I**

Wilsonart is currently seeking a Fabricator I to join our team. This role involves managing inventory, overseeing work in progress, and handling waste materials. The successful candidate will apply foundational skills while developing techniques for operating tools and machinery specific to this specialization. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
  • Assist with material handling and job preparation
  • Clean materials before and after assembly
  • Sand materials as required
  • Conduct material handling tasks
  • Maintain shop cleanliness
  • Complete projects according to specifications
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
  • Ability to learn about products and their features
  • Familiarity with basic hand tool usage
  • Understanding of proper care and maintenance of hand tools
  • Willingness to learn fabrication techniques
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Proficiency in operating saws, routers, drills, and table saws
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

**EDUCATION**

High School Diploma or GED

**EXPERIENCE**

Minimum of 1 year in a related field

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**: This position requires continuous physical exertion, including walking, pushing, climbing, and lifting heavy materials or equipment (over 50 lbs).
