Role Summary:

Inconen Temporary Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Procurement Buyer to ensure delivery assurance in a dynamic and complex environment. This role involves overseeing day-to-day supply chain management tasks, including placing purchase orders and managing supplier relationships to guarantee quality and timely delivery while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in program and production meetings as necessary.
  2. Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP to confirm that the correct configuration components are produced by suppliers and received appropriately.
  3. Engage with various levels of staff and management to facilitate communication and project alignment.
  4. Meet critical deadlines and ensure that objectives are established and achieved.
  5. Expedite shipments and negotiate contract terms effectively.
  6. Drive timely deliveries across all shipments.
  7. Handle a high volume of tasks efficiently.
  8. Contribute to ACE/Continuous Improvement initiatives, including Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess one of the following:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience, or
  • In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with supply chain processes, supplier engagement, and purchase order management.
  • Familiarity with contract structures and business terms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Effective communication skills for presentations to senior leadership.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally as required.
