About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with our company leaders and assist them in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our organization. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into our strategic and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with leaders across various departments to enhance risk management activities.
- Develops collaborative relationships with various levels of management across the company to build and maintain risk management ownership and accountability.
- Lead and conduct risk assessment activities, risk-based audit reviews, consulting and special projects.
- Collaborate and assist process owners on identifying potential risks.
- Evaluate the company's risk environment and controls, assist in identifying complimentary activities to mitigate risk.
- Monitor and analyze risks associated with market trends, business operations, and regulatory changes.
- Facilitate and assist in conducting annual business process owner self-assessments.
- Accumulate, analyze and summarize data that will be presented to the Company's Risk Council, CEO Staff, and Board of Directors.
- Participate in preparing for and presenting results to senior management and stakeholders.
- Continuously seek opportunities to automate and develop tools and best practices that assist in the administration and reporting of the program.
- Align with Internal Audit on the creation of the Internal Audit Plan to influence appropriate coverage.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, risk management, operational or related field.
- The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in risk management or a related field.
- Experience in ERM, operational risk management, internal audit, compliance, business process re-engineering/business transformation.
- Experience working and implementing key risk frameworks including COSO, ISO.
- Proven experience thinking out-of-the-box.
- Strong relationship building and collaboration skills.
- Presentation and communication capabilities including the ability to translate complex concepts into simple and understandable points of view.
- Knowledge of key applications preferred. (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, CoPilot, Data Analytics, etc.).
