Position Overview


Patterns Behavioral Services, Inc. is a dedicated clinical practice focused on providing support to families and children facing Autism and various behavioral challenges through our specialized teams operating in clinical, educational, and home environments.

We cater to families across multiple counties, ensuring personalized care and attention.


In collaboration with a licensed BCBA, the ABA Therapy Technician will manage a caseload of families (averaging 1-4) and provide individualized support to children and young adults (ages with behavioral challenges) in various settings including home, community, and clinical environments (specific assignments tailored to each case).

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute ABA treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA utilizing established behavioral interventions.


2. Collaborate with the lead BCBA to continuously develop and implement behavioral support strategies in home, school, and community settings aimed at managing target behaviors and teaching alternative skills.

3. Conduct parent training sessions focused on the effective implementation of ABA strategies.

4. Collect daily data for each client session to monitor progress.

5. Maintain thorough documentation of all clinical activities.

6. Participate in monthly team meetings and mandatory training sessions.

7. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.


Applicants should be prepared to travel for appointments within the designated service area and possess Telehealth capabilities (iPads provided to staff, reliable internet access required).

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field, or possess two years of relevant undergraduate/Associate’s degree experience. Consideration will be given to equivalent work history in lieu of a degree based on specific ABA job requirements. Previous ABA/RBT experience is highly desirable, and additional compensation may be offered.

Candidates must have reliable transportation and full coverage auto insurance (100/330K). A smartphone is also required.

Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational abilities, professionalism in family interactions, and the capacity to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment are essential.
