Position Summary: This role involves the direct supervision of food service personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and mentor team members; plan, assign, and oversee tasks; evaluate performance; recognize achievements and address issues.
- Inform management of inventory needs while focusing on waste reduction and preventing shortages.
- Utilize approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, appropriate serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Ensure proper operation and sanitation of equipment following departmental protocols.
- Label, date, and store food items according to established guidelines; maintain proper food rotation to minimize waste.
- Adhere to HACCP standards to guarantee the safety and quality of food supplies.
- Operate food service equipment safely and in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist in meal service and actively engage with customers to gather feedback.
- Perform additional duties as required.
