Immersive Operations Specialist

Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Device Manager who will be responsible for inventory management, device upkeep, and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will also handle troubleshooting 1-0-1 with users, front desk operations, and enhance customer/user experience. Additionally, they will work with ticketing systems, workflow systems, and systems of record to keep accurate stock records and ticket status.
Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of devices, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Device Upkeep: Perform routine maintenance tasks on devices, including cleaning, labeling, and organizing office space and inventory rooms.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues with devices and resolve problems efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- User Support: Provide excellent user support by assisting users with device-related queries and enhancing their overall experience.
- Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock records and ensure that all devices are properly accounted for.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong Technical Skills: Experience in inventory management, device upkeep, and technical troubleshooting is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively interact with users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to troubleshoot complex device-related issues.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is crucial to maintain accurate records and ensure smooth operations.
The following qualifications would be beneficial in this role:
- Experience in Logistics and Inventory Management: Previous experience in logistics and inventory management processes would be advantageous.
- Able to Lift Heavy Objects: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) may be required in certain situations.
- Knowledge of Technology Trends: A strong understanding and passion for technology and current trends is desirable.
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.00 - $21.60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, Cognizant provides a range of benefits, including medical/dental/vision/life insurance, paid holidays plus paid time off, 401(k) plan and contributions, long-term/short-term disability, paid parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
