As a Post Bar Law Clerk, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our attorneys and staff on cases from start to finish, gaining valuable experience in insurance defense.
Responsibilities- Compose and review various legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
- Summarize records and act as a liaison with experts and witnesses.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions and trials.
- Conduct preliminary legal research and draft standard discovery motions.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and other computer applications.
- Ability to manage time and multitask effectively.
- Currently have taken and awaiting results of the California Bar exam.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to effectively collaborate with our attorneys in the defense of our clients.
