Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for office visits by reviewing electronic health records and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment by ensuring exam rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and maintaining patient flow.
  • Assist healthcare providers with medical examinations, procedures, and patient care tasks as needed.
  • Obtain vital signs and medical information from patients and enter data into electronic medical records.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and laboratory studies as required.
  • Return patient phone calls and respond to messages in a timely manner.
  • Perform injections and other medical procedures as requested by healthcare providers.
  • Obtain and process laboratory samples, including CBCs, CMPs, and glucose monitoring, as ordered by physicians.
  • Triage patients in person and over the phone, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely resolution of patient concerns.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The employee must be able to assist patients in and out of chemo chairs and on and off exam tables. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
