A Wings Over General Manager Assistant is a key player in our team, responsible for supporting the General Manager in leading our restaurant operations. This role requires a strong leader, effective communicator, and problem solver who can mentor and motivate our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Expertise: Demonstrates knowledge of core products and processes to drive results, anticipating obstacles and taking action to prevent or minimize their impact.
  • Leadership and Motivation: Drives the implementation of company programs by directly motivating and instructing the store team to meet operational and organizational objectives.
  • Integrity and Culture: Manages with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture, values, and mission of Wings Over, planning, identifying, communicating, and delegating responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Performance Management: Assists the General Manager in monitoring and managing store staffing levels, conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals to improve performance.
  • Financial Acumen: Utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Remains calm and collected, working to keep the store operating to the Wings Over standard through timely delegation, and communicates information and ideas to promote store growth and a positive work environment.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensures team members adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products, and follows legal and operational compliance requirements.
