We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Plumbing Engineer to lead and manage complex projects in our Boston, MA office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and preparing schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents
- Manage and direct design staff to meet client expectations and project goals
- Act as plumbing point-of-contact for clients and pre-construction services for their scope areas
- Work on a variety of projects, both new construction and renovations, ranging from 100,000SF to 650,000SF
- Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications
- Provide mentoring and direction to junior members of the project team
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Science/Technology, and University Facilities
- 10+ years of experience in plumbing engineering
- P.E. License Required
- Familiarity with BIM
- Professional Degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year university
- Throughout understanding of Plumbing and Mechanical Engineering systems
- Ability to lead others and manage teams
- Understanding of advanced engineering principles and calculations
