Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Medical Assisting courses at Olympic College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting and the ability to effectively teach and mentor students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Medical Assisting courses, including anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures
  • Develop and implement course syllabi and assessments
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in medical assisting
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Medical Assisting or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in medical assisting, including clinical experience
  • Strong teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to teach a variety of courses and schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Medical Assisting or a related field
  • Experience teaching medical assisting courses
  • Certification in medical assisting (e.g. CMA, RMA)
