Role Overview: The Automotive Service Center Leader is accountable for the overall business operations and performance of the service center, ensuring safety, efficiency, and financial accountability. This position emphasizes customer satisfaction, retention, and the growth of both existing and new clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, ensuring cost control and inventory management.
- Foster a safe working environment and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Provide effective leadership to cultivate a collaborative and productive work culture.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff, promoting a motivated and skilled team.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening and addressing customer needs.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide comprehensive repair recommendations.
- Manage pricing estimates and promote service specials to enhance customer engagement.
- Supervise all sales, accounting, and clerical functions within the service center.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and manage any discrepancies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Handle payroll and record-keeping for employees.
- Submit daily sales reports to corporate management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a service environment.
- General knowledge of automotive services.
- Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
- Proficient in POS systems and internet applications.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver's license is required.
