Key Responsibilities

As a Personal Trainer, you will guide clients of all ages and fitness levels through safe and effective exercise sessions, whether in a one-on-one setting or in small groups. You will foster strong relationships with clients, helping them navigate their unique wellness journeys.

Your role will involve creating personalized workout plans that cater to the specific needs of each client, ensuring they are engaged and supported throughout their fitness experience. You will also promote safe movement practices and provide modifications to accommodate various abilities.

Essential Duties

  • Develop and lead a variety of individualized and group training sessions.
  • Assess client fitness levels and track progress through health history questionnaires and fitness evaluations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and respond to any incidents that may arise during sessions.
  • Promote personal training services and work towards achieving monthly performance goals.
  • Maintain required certifications and continue professional development.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (e.g., NASM, ACSM).
  • CPR and AED certification within the first month of employment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead clients of diverse backgrounds and fitness levels.

Preferred:

  • A degree in Health or Exercise Science.
  • Previous experience in personal training or group fitness instruction.

Work Environment

The role requires physical activity, including the ability to demonstrate exercises and assist clients with equipment. Candidates should be prepared to engage actively with clients and respond effectively in emergency situations.
