Role Responsibilities:

The Mack Enterprise Architecture Internship within the North American Digital and IT community offers students the chance to apply their academic expertise in a professional setting while advancing their career aspirations through engagement with industry professionals.

This internship is a structured learning experience where interns collaborate with full-time professionals on projects relevant to their chosen field within the organization.

Interns will have the opportunity to merge their academic knowledge in business processes, IT, finance, and human resources with practical business experiences.

The result is mutual growth: valuable experience for the intern and enhanced insights for management.


Key Objectives:
The Mack Enterprise Architecture Internship involves collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Activities Include:

- Analyzing business processes and documenting information flows and applications.
- Supporting projects to create current and future IT application landscapes and transformation scenarios.


Main Duties:
- Assist in projects by providing current information and future documentation through observation and interviews.
- Capture, document, categorize, and summarize findings from observations and interviews.
- Develop IT process maps and landscapes based on collected information.
- Record results in Global Enterprise Architecture tools.
- Discuss and align findings with global teams and other Volvo Group brands.
- Present landscapes and transformation roadmaps to stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent business communication and documentation skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new tools in an international context.

Educational Requirements:

- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, business management, or information systems management at an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 30 semester hours must be completed prior to the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required.
- Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week.
- Preference is given to Junior/Senior undergraduate students.
