About the Job

We are seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our team at North Shore Gastroenterology Associates in Great Neck, NY. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for administering IV medications, supervising the post-endoscopy recovery room, and assisting with patient assessments.

Responsibilities
  • Reconstituting IV medications and administering IV biologic medications, as well as placing and removing IVs.
  • Supervising the post-endoscopy recovery room and monitoring inventory of controlled substance medications used by anesthesiologists.
  • Assisting medical assistants with patient assessments.
Requirements
  • A graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of NY.
  • BCLS/ACLS preferred.
  • Two years' experience as a registered nurse.
Estimated Salary Range

$75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
