Job Opportunity

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will meet the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural, and emotional needs of patients and their families, communicating effectively with the healthcare team as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in nursing is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or compact state
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
