Position Overview


We are in search of a System Integration Test Labs Operations Lead who is exceptionally organized and possesses strong communication skills. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of testing projects across our facilities.


The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operations of our System Integration Test Labs, collaborating with various engineering teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the operational plan for the System Integration Test Labs.
  • Collaborate with Testing, Design, Certification, and Manufacturing teams to identify and scope testing projects for aircraft hardware development.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external performance standards throughout project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, manage project gates, and proactively address potential issues.
  • Prepare and present project schedules to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Utilize performance metrics to inform growth and budgeting strategies for the team.


Qualifications


Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering setting, particularly in managing change initiatives. Key qualifications include:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with DO178 standards in a laboratory context.
  • Experience managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of the product development lifecycle for hardware-centric projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, and JIRA.
