Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Customer Experience Coordinator to join our team at Sierra Trading Post. As a key member of our frontline team, you will be responsible for promoting a highly satisfied customer experience, driving customer loyalty, and leading high-performing teams to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a highly satisfied customer experience through exceptional service and support
  • Drive customer loyalty through programs and initiatives that foster long-term relationships
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly and professionally
  • Train and mentor frontline team members on policies and procedures, ensuring seamless execution of register transactions
  • Provide recognition and constructive feedback to team members to drive performance and growth
  • Maintain and monitor cash controls, including change funds, to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Adhere to all labor laws and meal and break period policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Assign registers and coordinate breaks to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency
  • Audit and approve paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including the frontline and sales floor
  • Monitor and maintain frontline equipment, reporting any issues to management
  • Execute and adhere to company directives and policies, including operational, merchandise, and loss prevention procedures
  • Ensure proper and timely handling of damages and mark-outs of stock
  • Promote a safe environment, reporting any safety hazards to management
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent degree preferred
  • Available to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Able to work as a team member, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong desire to achieve team and individual results
  • Able to lift heavy merchandise, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Able to train and provide direction to others, with a strong ability to run a register and handle money
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience as a coordinator or previous retail/supervisory experience preferred
