Job Title: Project Administrator for School-Based Mental Health Program

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Project Administrator for School-Based Mental Health Program. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with SBMH reports and presentations.
  • Publicizing and promoting the activities, programs, and goals of SBMH.
  • Representing SBMH with schools, partner agencies, and the general public.
  • Maintaining a climate that attracts, keeps, and motivates diverse staff and volunteers of top-quality people.
  • Being responsible for maintaining sound financial practices and budget stewardship.
  • Monitoring and ensuring that grant objectives are met.
  • Facilitating SBMH team meetings and activities of team members.
  • Recruiting students for SBMH cohort (including overview of application review process).
  • Marketing SBMH project and SBMH as a career via videos, social media, brochures, etc.
  • SBMH student mentorship and retention.
  • Organizing and leading events for SBMH students to develop community and/or professional skills.
  • Community networking and partnership development, including expansion of practicum placement opportunities throughout the greater Cincinnati-Dayton corridor.
  • Providing leadership for the SBMH Professional Advisory Committee and the regional partnership meetings.
  • Meeting with practicum placement supervisors as needed.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work or closely related field by date of appointment.

Consideration may be given to candidates with recent (within the last 4 years), first-hand experience providing school-based mental health services; experience creating and maintaining partnerships with community organizations; knowledge of and experience with multicultural and/or multilingual populations; Master's degree in social work, family science, psychology, sociology, education, or related field; previous experience with grant-funded projects; experience in university settings, K-12 settings, and/or mental health/behavioral health settings; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills with strong follow-through and attention to detail; and ability to represent SBMH well in multiple settings and contexts.
