Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Sonographer PRN to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures, including M-Mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, and Color Doppler studies, as well as stress echocardiograms.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures on adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Apply detailed knowledge of cardiac and thoracic anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
  • Meet productivity and quality standards, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies
Requirements
  • College or technical training program in diagnostic medical sonography
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • 2-3 years of experience in pediatric echocardiography, preferred
