Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for using sonography equipment to produce quality diagnostic echocardiography to ensure optimal patient care.

Typically works under the direction of or in partnership with Sonographer II or attending cardiologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs inpatient and outpatient diagnostic cardiac sonograms in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines for digital image acquisition.
  • Responsible for performing and archiving calculations for reporting of all pediatric ultrasound imaging.
  • Must be Certified in Pediatric Echo by ARDMS or CCI within first year of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fetal, Adult, Vascular Preferred
  • Must be Certified in Pediatric Echo by ARDMS or CCI within 24 months of employment (ARDMS is preferred over CCI) Required
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.

Employee portion of medical plan premiums are covered after 3 years.
