Job Summary:
Allied Universal is seeking a Surveillance Investigator to conduct discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of claimants to confirm current activities and capabilities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in insurance or investigations and be able to work varied and irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across various coverage types
* Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly
* Document and report observations, activities, and relevant information in a clear and concise manner
* Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement agencies as needed
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to type reports in Microsoft Word format with minimal errors
* Proficient in utilizing laptop computers, video cameras, and cell phones
* Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
* Demonstrated ability to manage stressful situations with composure and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications:
* Military experience
* Law enforcement background
* Insurance administration experience
* College degree in Criminal Justice
