Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in West Burlington, Iowa.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging facility. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing, administering, and measuring radioactive isotopes for therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies. You will also operate Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies
- Operate Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT equipment to produce high-quality images
- Demonstrate knowledge of general and cross-sectional anatomy, technical factors, radiation safety, and basic computer skills
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and physicians to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Registered ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification
- State license for Nuclear Medicine Tech in Iowa
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
