Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Great River Health System. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing, administering, and measuring radioactive isotopes for therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies. You will operate Nuclear Medicine equipment to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes. Your goal will be to produce high-quality images as directed by radiologists and physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies
Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes
Produce high-quality images as directed by radiologists and physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders
Demonstrate knowledge of general and cross-sectional anatomy, technical factors, radiation safety, and basic computer skills

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology
Three years training/experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred
Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Iowa Permit to Practice – Nuclear Medicine Technology (or eligible)
ARRT and/or NMTCB Registered
