Job Title: Registered Nurse Assistant Manager

AdventHealth Florida is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Assistant Manager in the Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to lead our team in providing high-quality patient care. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided on the unit
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of one year of hospital acute care RN nursing experience and one year prior leadership experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • BSN preferred
  • Current valid Florida State Board of Nursing Registered Professional Nurse license
