AdventHealth Florida is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit. This is a full-time position working 8-hour night shifts.

About the Role:
  • Assist the Nurse Manager in leading a team of Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and AdventHealth standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and support to new hires and orientees to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of hospital acute care RN nursing experience and one year prior leadership experience.
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Current valid Florida State Board of Nursing Registered Professional Nurse license.
