Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at West Virginia Employer.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide nursing services, training, and support to individuals with brain injuries, intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, and emotional or behavioral disabilities.
Responsibilities:- Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services are provided.
- Administer medications and provide documentation.
- Provide prescribed medical treatment by physician's orders and personal care services.
- Conduct assessments, implement healthcare services, and respond to changes in condition.
- Provide training to staff members on universal precautions, infection control, and medication administration.
- Train individuals served on topics such as self-medication, prescribed treatments, sex education/STD prevention, and smoking cessation.
- Associates Degree in Nursing or related field, or a graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- One year of experience working with the population served in a nursing capacity.
- Current state LPN or LVN License.
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
- Additional certifications as required by state licensing regulations.
- Full compensation and benefits package for employees working 30+ hours/week.
