Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project scope and fee quotations, in collaboration with our technical teams.
  • Coordinate project activities, establish priorities, and allocate staff to tasks.
  • Monitor contractor progress, compare it with the project schedule, and resolve technical issues.
  • Oversee project controls, including checking contractors' controls, coordinating schedules, and reviewing submittals.
  • Implement our Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project, leading the development and execution of the project management plan.
  • Supervise and mentor team members to achieve overall project objectives.
  • Identify and resolve non-compliant work, provide interpretation and enforcement of contract plans and specifications.
  • Confirm change order requests, develop estimates, negotiate costs, and write change orders.
  • Provide cost control and quality control within the discipline.
  • Partner with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for mega and super mega projects.
Requirements
  • Fundamentals of Engineering certification.
  • All jurisdictional certificates.

  • Winning, contracting, and successfully delivering 4for4 (on-time, on-budget, quality, client satisfaction) on multi-disciplined or large/complex projects.
  • Leading large teams inside and outside of HNTB using sub-consultants.
  • Using system tools to manage, monitor, and deliver complex projects.
  • Serving as the lead interface with the client.
  • Deploying talent to other projects and developing successors to work with the same client on other work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 25 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE), or National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Level IV.
