Job Description

About Sittercity

Sittercity, a leading technology company in the child care industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team. As a key member of our product delivery squad, you will be responsible for driving product initiatives from concept to delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading design projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement end-to-end product design solutions, including research, ideation, UX/UI, and interaction design.
  • Lead design projects and collaborate with developers, product managers, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product launches.
  • Design and implement responsive web and mobile platforms, with a strong understanding of animation, interaction design, and accessibility best practices.
  • Contribute to product direction and design strategies that align with business goals, and lead user testing sessions to synthesize feedback and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on visual assets, brand consistency, and small to large-scale design projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in end-to-end product design.
  • Proven experience leading design projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Mastery in design software, including Figma, Unbounce, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to apply them effectively to create engaging and accessible user experiences.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with experience presenting design perspective and best practices to the broader organization.
