About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Associate to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a Behavioral Health Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals in our inpatient treatment center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and ensure supervision is conducted at 15-minute intervals, as needed.
  • Document accurate and timely clinical information in patient records.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Obtain patient vital signs, height, and weight as assigned and document in patient records.
  • Facilitate patient educational-rehabilitative groups, covering topics such as social skills, coping skills, and independent living skills.
  • Engage patients in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals.
  • Complete and maintain required documentation, including follow-up and paperwork on incidents and events.
  • Provide transportation for patients or coordinate transportation with staff members, as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
