Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager Trainee to join our team at ALDI. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train store personnel to ensure excellent customer service and store operations
  • Develop and implement operational action plans to improve store performance
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure proper store signage and product quality
  • Assist in the hiring and training of new store personnel
  • Manage store schedules and payroll
  • Conduct store meetings and provide feedback to team members
  • Identify training and development opportunities for team members
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and recommend promotions or terminations
  • Manage store inventory and merchandise
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior management experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
  • Ability to establish goals and guide employee performance
  • Ability to evaluate and drive performance of self and others
  • Ability to understand and apply management principles concerning budgeting, personnel costs, and expenses
