Job Description

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated EMS Certification Coordinator to support the certification and education of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). The successful candidate will provide telephone and email support, review certification applications, and assist with clerical tasks related to certification and recertification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review submitted electronic and paper applications in accordance with established procedures and process them through electronic computer systems.
  • Provide telephone and email customer service to certified EMT personnel, addressing inquiries regarding certification maintenance or reinstatement based on established procedures.
  • Assist individuals with verification of past or current EMT certification.
  • Process and maintain records related to certification and recertification of EMT personnel.

Qualifications:

  • EMT certification required.
  • Strong communication skills (telephone and email).
  • Proficiency with computer systems for application processing.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
