Resort Emergency Response Coordinator

Job Summary:
Vail Resorts is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, and our Ski Patrol team plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our staff and guests on the mountain. As a Ski Patrol team member, you will be responsible for providing a high level of service and support to our guests, while also maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and promote guest safety, including providing guidance and support to guests on the mountain.
- Assist injured guests on the mountain, providing medical attention and support as needed.
- Maintain trails, including closures, safety materials, avalanche mitigation, and other impacts from the natural environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including participating in emergency response and rescue efforts.
Requirements:
- Pass resort Ski Patrol sponsored ski test.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have excellent guest service skills.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment.
- Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment.
- Must have sight, speech, and hearing abilities sufficient to learn skills, follow and provide directions.
Compensation:
The expected pay range for this position is $23.26. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
